MY STORY

My medium of choice is pour painting with fluid acrylics. At first it seemed simple, and the outcome was beautiful in unpredictable ways. I spent months experimenting, trying to achieve the exact intended results. The mixtures of paint, medium, and additives changed. My canvas and varnish became wood panels and epoxy. The way in which I pour the paint onto the canvas even became a ritual. Yet, the pieces still maintained a balance of chaos and order.
I felt like I was looking into a mirror of my life and of everyone else's around me. No matter how much preparation and intention goes into the process there is still a great deal of randomness. The intrigue motivates me to continue creating and evolving.
